The Westmore collection is feeling right
at home at independent retailers, dealer distributors and
big box locations alike.
Pennsauken, NJ -
Westmore, Ultra Hardware Products’ newest collection of
Classic Hardware for Fine Homes is experiencing steady growth
in its distribution since the brand launched late last year.
Showroom quality products at hardware store prices is being
accredited as the number one reason for Westmore’s solid
growth. Additional factors include creative merchandising
programs, pre-set plan-o-grams and Westmore’s aggressive
trade and consumer advertising campaigns.
Much of the growth is within the distributor
channel. The Westmore collection creates a buzz at every
distributor trade show where it has been displayed. Dealer
members of LMC, Truserv, Handy Hardware and Watters &
Martin are now able to compete with hardware showrooms and the
bigger chains. Westmore allows storeowners to offer a complete
line of high style, high quality door and home hardware they
were not able to stock previously due to high costs. Westmore
is priced to be a great value to dealers, distributors and
more importantly, consumers.
"Westmore offers our customers higher
dollar sales to make better use of their shelf space and our
suggested retails are approximately 20% lower than other
leading high end brands", said Rob Munin, vice president
of Ultra Hardware Products. "Our dealers know this is a
win/win situation."
The big boxes are
also taking advantage of Westmore’s winning combination.
Westmore is part of The Home Depot’s new special order
lockset program that is in place at over three hundred stores
across the United States.
